Insurance

North Internal Medicine accepts most insurance plans. **NOTE AS OF 04/01/2024, WE ARE NOT CURRENTLY ACCEPTING NEW MEDICARE OR MEDICARE ADVANTAGE PATIENTS** Please contact your insurance provider or our office if you have any questions about coverage. Member services are located on the back of your medical insurance card, and it is recommended that before your first visit, you verify with your plan that North Internal Medicine is in your network. Some plans have out-of-network benefits, but are usually costly.

Co-payments and payments for non-covered services are expected at the time of service. We will be happy to work out payment arrangements, please let our staff know how we can help you.

North Internal Medicine reserves the right to attempt to collect debt on accounts with a signed Payment Agreement. This Payment Agreement is included in new patient paper work. It can be viewed here: image0571

Please contact the office for any questions about in-network status or any changes made to your plan. Confirmation of in-network status can be made by the Office Manager.

Our office uses PathGroup for lab services. If your insurance requires you to use a different lab other than PathGroup, please notify us, and we will provide you with lab orders and address to the nearest draw station. Some Insurances prefer American Esoteric Laboratories (AEL) or Quest for lab testing.

For self-pay patients, payment is expected in full at the time of service. We accept cash, checks, VISA and MasterCard.

If your plan requires you to list a PCP (Primary Care Physician), please be sure the PCP is changed to Dr. Douglas L. O’Dea with your insurance prior to your appointment.

If you have any questions regarding your bill, please contact Julie or Cheryl at our billing office, (901) 757-2345 Ext. 1520.
